Eva Döhla welcomes new police officers to the town hall

Eleven new police officers have visited Hof town hall.

Mayor Eva Döhla greeted eleven police officers starting their service at the Hof police station and the Central Supplementary Services in the Technical Town Hall in Hof, congratulating them on passing their police master's examination. During her presentation on the cultural, culinary and sporting advantages of the city, she praised the close cooperation between the police and the city administration: "The exchange between our authorities is friendly and direct. There are many good points of contact that we have built up in recent years. I am always pleased with the smooth communication between our departments and the police."

In future, the young police officers will ensure safety and order in the city area, but will also be available as contact persons. Heiko Mettke, press spokesman for the Hof police, noted that it is part of Hof's self-image that police officers get to talk to the people of Hof while on patrol at the Hofer Wärschtlamo.
