Diamond wedding at the beginning of spring

Mr. and Mrs. Müller from Moschendorf celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on 20 March 2025, the beginning of spring on the calendar. At the official start of spring, they both remembered that exactly 60 years ago, the city of Hof was covered in ten centimetres of snow and their wedding in the Church of the Resurrection was framed by a wintry backdrop. Moschendorf, a district of Hof since April 1, 1906, is the home of the Müllers. Their life together reflects their deep attachment to this neighborhood. To mark the anniversary, Mr. Müller surprised his wife with a bouquet of orange roses - a tribute to the bridal bouquet from back then.

Mayor Eva Döhla congratulated the couple personally. Over coffee and cake, she paid tribute to the Müllers' six decades together and wished them many happy years to come.
