Day of remembrance for victims of terrorist violence

In February 2022, the German government decided to introduce this day of remembrance. It is closely linked to the European Day of Remembrance for the Victims of Terrorism, which has been observed by the European Union since 2005 to commemorate the victims of terrorist atrocities worldwide.
