Conversion and renovation measures at the Neustadt school

Among other things, the old ceiling beams were replaced with new ones or reinforced to ensure the load-bearing capacity of the building wing.

Many load-bearing materials in our buildings require a complete overhaul from time to time to ensure that the safety aspect in particular is not compromised.

In the example of the listed Neustadt school building in Theaterstrasse, the ceiling beams on the second floor were partially in a dilapidated state. These were replaced with new ones or reinforced in order to continue to guarantee the load-bearing capacity of the building wing.

As part of the renovation work, the adjacent classrooms and connecting corridors were also renovated. This means that normal school lessons can now take place again without any structural hazards.
