City of Hof congratulates Aggeliki Schmalfuß on her 95th birthday

Aggeliki Schmalfuß came to Hof as a guest worker at a young age.

There was a special reason to celebrate at Haus Kamilla: Aggeliki Schmalfuß turned 95. Mayor Eva Döhla congratulated Mrs. Schmalfuß personally on this special anniversary and conveyed the congratulations of the city of Hof.
Aggeliki Schmalfuß was born in the municipality of Piraeus in Greece and came to Hof as a guest worker at a young age. She found a job at the Neuhof spinning mill and worked there with great diligence. Her husband, who has already passed away, was always a great support to her.
Aggeliki Schmalfuß was particularly fond of animals. For many years, she had pets herself, which she lovingly cared for. Even today, she is always very happy when the visiting service comes to Kamilla House with the dogs.
