Auto Klug donates for children and youth work

This year, the long-established company is once again donating 2,500 euros to children's and youth work in the city of Hof.

A generous gesture in the run-up to Christmas: as in previous years, the long-established company Auto Klug is donating 2,500 euros to the children's and youth work of the city of Hof. Mayor Eva Döhla accepted the donation together with Dr. Burkhard Baier, Head of Schools, Youth, Social Affairs and Sport, and Thiemo Tratzmüller, Head of Youth and Social Affairs.

Christina Glück, Managing Director of Auto Klug, explained the motivation behind the commitment: "As a company with roots in Hof, we want to give something back to our city. It is nice to know that our donation goes directly to where it is needed via the city's contact points." Auto Klug, a traditional company with over 80 years of history, sets an example in business and in the social sector. "Our thanks also go to our customers, whose trust in us makes such donations possible in the first place," added Jörg Krauß, Sales Manager at Auto Klug.

Mayor Eva Döhla: "We really appreciate it when companies in Hof like Auto Klug take responsibility and help shape our city. We can always achieve a lot of positive things with such donations, be it through support in emergencies or through the development of new projects."

During the handover, the participants discussed current projects in the area of children and youth work. "The renovation of the popular playgrounds at Untreusee and Bismarck Tower shows how important it is to create spaces for people to meet and play together," said Dr. Baier. "Donations like this not only help us to help children in need quickly and unbureaucratically, but also to strengthen leisure activities in the long term."

The donation goes directly to the children and youth work of the city of Hof. In addition to providing support in acute emergencies, it will also be invested in the expansion of leisure activities and meeting places. A particular focus here is on sustainably improving the quality of life of young people and enabling them to have positive experiences. With this commitment, Auto Klug shows that a strong connection to the region can have a valuable economic and social impact.
