Advice day for start-ups

On Thursday, May 22, 2025, interested parties who want to start their own business or take on a business succession can get advice at the Einstein1 Digital Start-up Center (Albert-Einstein-Str.1, 95028 Hof): The economic development agencies of the city and district of Hof, together with the LfA-Förderbank Bayern, the Aktivsenioren and the Digital Start-up Center Einstein 1, are once again offering a free advice day for business founders.

The path to self-employment is not always easy and is fraught with uncertainties. Important questions need to be clarified beforehand. First and foremost is the business model, which must be viable for a business. You have to determine target groups, align your product and marketing accordingly, calculate prices and combine the whole thing in a business plan as a set of figures.

Planned company successions are also an important topic. They represent a good opportunity to switch to self-employment. Here too, advice is offered on the succession concept and its implementation.

The start-up advice day takes place in person from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., with one hour scheduled for each individual consultation.

Registrations for the consultation day can be sent to the Hof district's business development department by e-mail to wirtschaft(at)landkreis-hof.de by May 19. In addition to your contact details (telephone, e-mail), please state the sector or business idea in which you would like to set up your own business and which topics or specific questions (e.g. business plan, financing, marketing) are to be discussed at the consultation day.
