30 km/h zone extended in Leimitz

The city of Hof is extending the existing 30 km/h zone in the Leimitz district to Bühlstraße and Leimitzer Straße from house number 196. This requires a right-of-way change at the junction of Bühlstraße/Leimitzer Straße. The change will come into effect this week. This implements the decision made by the Hof city building committee on 07.05.2024 following the recommendation of the traffic advisory board to improve road safety.

The city council would particularly like to point out that in a 30 km/h zone, all roads have equal rights and the right-before-left rule applies everywhere. At the junction of Bühlstraße and Leimitzer Straße, the right-of-way rule will also change. A corresponding warning sign will be installed there for a transitional period.

The city council asks all road users to drive carefully at the junction.
