Civil Engineering

In the construction industry, a distinction is made between the two major areas of building construction and civil engineering - i.e. the construction of buildings and technical facilities, for example, on the one hand, and the construction of roads, bridges and sewers on the other. Both areas are very technical in nature and are present in the cityscape at almost all times through construction sites.

Department 66

Civil engineering and green areas

Department 66 - Civil Engineering and Parks is the right contact for all construction measures in the city of Hof that are "in contact with the ground". Most construction measures take place in the "public space" and are directly perceived by citizens on their daily routes. Construction measures that lead to traffic jams on the roads are sometimes perceived as a nuisance by road users, but the maintenance and improvement of the existing infrastructure serves all citizens of Hof and their guests. The primary goal is to leave behind a modern and intact building substance for future generations.
