Mr. and Mrs. Mikula celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary

Maria and Bruno Mikula recently celebrated their iron wedding anniversary in good health, marking a proud 65 years of marriage.

Maria Mikula was born in Maschwitz in 1939, while Bruno Mikula was born in Meedl in 1934. After the war, they moved to Hof in 1946, where they met and finally tied the knot in the church of St. Konrad in 1959.

The couple, who have two grandchildren, have developed a deep bond over the years. Maria worked as a seamstress until the birth of their children, Bruno as a carpenter until his retirement from the German army. One passion they both share is the loving care of their garden.

To celebrate the special day, Mayor Eva Döhla personally conveyed the congratulations of the city of Hof. On their wedding day, the couple went out for a meal together to celebrate their anniversary.
