Possibilities for financial support

Innovation, technology, research and development are top in Bavaria. The business climate is sophisticated and the environment reliable. Hof as a business and technology location is part of it.
It is one of the few towns in Bavaria with an investment support through the cooperative action "Improvement of the regional ecomonic structure" and at the same time it is goal 2–support area of the EU. Hof is considered as a focus of strutural policy: displayed in several economic projects with the Free State of Bavaria. – and with a hotline to the economics ministry. The financial support is fine, the networks fit and the looking after is heartfelt and effective – simply Bavarian, consequently charming.

Support by the cooperative action

The town Hof is C-support-focus of the cooperative action "Improvement of the regional economic structure" of the Bavarian regional support programmes. Here, investments of supportable companies concerning set-up, extension, reorganization or thorough rationalization of a plant are sponsored.

In the main, purchase or production costs of goods, which belong to the tangible assets as part of the investment plan, and the purchase costs of immaterial goods, as far as they are activated, get financial support. Also salary-cost-related subsidies are possible. The support comes in form of a grant or a loan.

Goal 2-support of the EU

Communal projects in the sector of ecomomy-related infrastructure are supported. These are mostly facilities in the fields of technology transfer and innovation policy which are good for the local companies.

The opening-up costs of a private investor were supported with 75 %, e. g. at the industrial zone "Regnitztal"; a direct advantage for the company.

Beside the federal subsidies regarding further education and retraining of workers, the EU offers high financial support in this sector.

Beside these extraordinary subsidies, the whole range of German and Bavarian support programmes is available in Hof. They cover all fields from classic investment support up to support of research / development / environmental care / export / advice.

In particular, the extended research and technology programmes of the Freestat of Bavaria, traditonally strong in this field, make the location Hof interesting concerning support.
