In the center of Europe and well connected

The county town Hof is a major center in the province of Upper Frankonia in the north of the Free State of Bavaria and it is part of the area HochFranken within the scope of a big regional marketing campaign.

Especially, the geographic situation of Hof is an essential advantage for investment. Hof is part of the central European market and furthermore, it is close to the new, developing eastern European markets: Thus, it's an ideal basis for working on expanding sales markets. From Hof it doesn’t take long to go to the south or middle of Germany or to the Czech Republic and Poland. Hof is based halfway between Frankfurt and Prague, Munich and Berlin.

This sophisticated geograpic situation gains even more importance through the advanced traffic infrastructure.

Hof is a highway junction
The follwing highways cross in Hof:
A 9 Munich – Nuremberg – Hof – Leipzig – Berlin
A 93 Hof – Regensburg – Austria
A 72 Hof – Dresden

These highways ideally connect the above mentioned sales markets with the location Hof. Additionally, there is a well constructed net of major roads available.

Hof has its own regional airport

The modern regional airport offers scheduled flights to Frankfurt three times a day on workdays and from there you get connecting flights to destinations all over the world. Indiviual airtaxi charter is possible at any time.

At the moment the extension of the airport is being planned intensively.

Railway connections

Hof with its central station is connected to the domestic railroad traffic via appropriate train systems. The important north-south axis Nuremberg – Hof – Dresden/Leipzig – Berlin (Frankonia-Saxony main route) is being extended and grants a good railroad connection. A large goods station is available, too. A new container terminal at the goods station guarantees the daily direct connection to the ports of Bremerhaven and Hamburg.
